Delta or “Δ” is a symbol for 'change' and in the system of Greek numerals it has a value of four. For IBAM this has both a literal and figurative meaning which is embedded into our business, from our core service offering of change management solutions, to our mission and values.
The four letters which make up IBAM represents our sector focus, Insurance, Banking and Asset Management, and is where we derive our name. It also represents the four strategic pillars on which IBAM is built: delivery, consultancy, value and efficiency.

What we do differently
Traditional consultancy firms manage to a bench. This means that at any given time a proportion of their consultants will be waiting to be deployed onto a project.
But maintaining a bench comes at a cost, and this cost is carried by clients in every project fee. It also means that projects are often resourced with the skills that happen to match those of the consultants on the bench, to keep them income producing, rather than tailored to the actual expertise required for the project.
IBAM Consulting does things differently.
We don't rely on a bench, which gives us complete flexibility and means we remain agile. Instead we operate through an established existing network of SMEs and can scale up rapidly when needed which we supplement with a lean team of specialist consultants.
Being able to leverage these extensive resources enables us to supply exactly the right skill-sets needed for each project, without the expensive overheads.

IBAM Consulting was established in response to client need.
Historically there has been a gap between the services offered by traditional consultancies and system vendors, combined with a lack of sector specific knowledge and experience of end-to-end delivery.
Having worked with the world's leading financial services firms for over 20 years, our team had established an exceptional reputation in human capital management.
So when approached by a client to help on a critical, time sensitive project where the incumbent consultancies and suppliers had failed to deliver, IBAM was born.
IBAM is now a preferred vendor to organisations seeking more from their consultancy solutions, redefining financial services change management.
